Alaya Align — alignment view showing three dining chair options with Aligned, Needs Discussion, and Nearly Aligned states

Where you agree. Where you split.

We both had a vision. We just never found a way to show each other.

When one person shows something they love and waits for a reaction, the reaction is already contaminated. Most couples end up designing around each other’s hesitation, not toward each other’s vision.

01
Start with your own eye.
A private first pass. Look at each option without your partner’s reaction on screen. Say what you actually think.
02
Find what you already share.
You’ll see the options you both loved and the ones you both passed on. Start from what’s shared.
03
Decide together
Capture the decision once, attached to the space it belongs to.

We used to have the sofa conversation every few weeks. Now we don’t.

A note from the founder

“The home in your story might be your first, your next, or a place to escape to. The question at the center is the same: how do you build this together?”

About Alaya Align

Alaya Align is a private space for couples to make home designs together. The product handles conversations that many couples have in circles: what do we actually want this room to look like? It works whether you’re furnishing your first place, renovating, or merging two homes into one. Alaya Align is the only home design app built to help couples through the entire design lifecycle - from inspiration to delivery. Alaya Align was founded by Ashley Tevatia in San Francisco, CA.

Common questions
Alaya Align is built for couples designing a home together. It fits couples in the early design phase of a new home, couples mid-renovation, and couples merging two existing homes into one. Whether it’s a first home, a next one, or a place to escape to, the conversation is the same. If one of you is fully checked out of the design conversation, this isn’t the right fit. The product is built for two engaged partners.
Free during the beta. We’ll let you know in advance before that changes.
Most couples spend 15 to 20 minutes in the first session, enough to see how the product works on a single space. Real use happens in short bursts: a few minutes when one of you is browsing, a longer pass together when a real decision lands. The product is built to fit the actual rhythm of new-home decisions. It shouldn’t feel like a homework assignment on top of your life.
No. Alaya Align does not ask you to have an opinion you don’t already have. It runs on what each of you actually likes when you see it, which is the only opinion the product needs. You don’t have to name a style, identify a movement, or know what transitional means.
The product is built so the partner who cares less doesn’t have to do more. The lift is light. The part that matters most, which is saying what you actually like when you see it, takes seconds. Most of the partners we hear from who started skeptical describe the same shift: I thought this was going to be more work. It wasn’t.
Yes. Everything in Alaya Align is protected at the household level, which means the two of you share one private account and nothing you save is visible to anyone outside it. There is no public feed, no follower count, and no scores visible to anyone outside your home. The product is built so the conversation between two people about their home stays a conversation between two people.
Alaya Align works with or without a designer. Couples who use it before bringing in a designer arrive with a sharper brief. Couples mid-engagement use it to align between meetings, so the time with the designer goes to design problems instead of to translation.
Right now, invites go out in small batches every few weeks. Sign up above and we’ll let you know when a slot opens.
